Psychiatrist and psychotherapist
with 6 years of experience living overseas.
I am a psychiatrist and psychotherapist with over eleven years of clinical experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges.
After earning my Ph.D. in Psychiatry from Nagoya University, I have worked in hospitals, academic institutions, and international mental health settings, giving me the opportunity to support people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
I provide psychotherapy in English and Chinese. My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based, integrating cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and person-centred therapy. I believe the best therapy feels like talking with someone who genuinely listens, understands, and can offer professional guidance when life becomes overwhelming or uncertain.Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, ADHD, trauma, identity-related concerns, or the challenges of living abroad, I strive to provide a safe, respectful space where you can be yourself. As a licensed psychiatrist in China, I can also help identify when psychiatric assessment or treatment may be appropriate and guide clients toward local medical services when needed.
